Jumped the Shark

One of my frequent sources of video entertainment has apparently jumped the shark.  Once upon a time, a small growing network struggled to create interesting content.  Now a much larger entity, with more leverage over content creators, the big boss seems hell belt on getting rid of everyone from the old days, and creating an entirely new network, based mostly on shows featuring the boss himself.

It’s sad seeing frequent hosts, guests and other characters lose their jobs, but change is inevitable.  Most of the folks have bounced back much stronger, making more money due to the popularity of the Patreon.com crowd sourced fund raising website.  I pledge like $20/month total to support 6-7 shows, which I consume regularly.  Some are weekly, a few more often.
